What is the CDAH Board


The Board of Directors is seven people who watch what CDAH is doing. The President leads the Board.


The Executive Officer manages the daily work of CDAH. The Executive Officer reports to the board.


What are the rules for the board? 
Everyone must follow the CDAH rules, this is called a constitution. Everyone must agree to respect people and CDAH, this is called a code of conduct.


What does a board member do? 
go to board meetings 
look at things closely 
thinks clearly
makes decisions

A good board member 
chooses what is good for CDAH  
is honest 
is fair 
works well with others 


A good board member 
follows the constitution 
agrees with the code of conduct 
makes sure CDAH has enough money to pay bills and people 
tells the board if something you are doing will affect CDAH

A conflict of interest is when a board member has their own interests which are different from the Board.
