About Koori Connections
Koori Connections meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 11am – 1pm. This is a hybrid group and you can join online, or in person at our office at 202 King St, Newcastle 2300.
Koori Connections is deadly community that welcomes Mob with disability. This is a culturally safe space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peers can connect and support one another, while deepening their connection to community and culture.
With a strong emphasis on kinship and belonging, it’s an environment where everyone feels like family, embracing each other’s strengths and stories. Sharing culture and strengthening community.
Koori Connections is a community where peers are encouraged to come as they are without fear of judgement and simply connect with Mob along with the unmistakable CDAH touch of inclusion, kindness and humour. The peer group engages in a variety of activities and initiatives led by Mob to celebrate their culture and shared identity.
