About Queer Peers
Queer Peers meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 2:30pm – 4pm. This is a hybrid group and you can join online, or in person at our office at 202 King St, Newcastle 2300.
Queer Peers is a peer group for people with lived experience of disability who also identify as being in the LGBTQIA+ community. The aim of the group is to provide a safe space for peers who can collectively come together and share their experiences, develop and engage with their identity, connect with one another meaningfully, and work together to discuss issues effecting our lives in the disability and LGBTQIA+ space.
